Fax Line

Fax Line is an engineering‑ready component of the Cloud 504 Elevate suite. It’s designed to integrate with legacy analog environments and modern cloud PBXs with minimal disruption.

How it connects

• Analog/legacy PBX: we front your lines or extensions with an ATA or gateway (FXS/FXO) and map dial plans/DIDs to Elevate.
• Fax/intercom/paging: supported via ATA; we prefer T.38 where available, with G.711 pass‑through fallback.
• Staged migration: DIDs can forward during porting; we run analog and cloud in parallel until cutover.
• Cloud PBX (Elevate): SIP over TLS (5061) signaling and SRTP media where supported.
• Endpoints: auto‑provisioned SIP phones, Teams clients (if applicable), and softphones.
• Routing: auto attendants, queues, hunt groups, voicemail, and time‑based rules.

Deployment pattern

• Assess current state (numbers, carriers, analog endpoints, PBX features).
• Design dial plans, queues, policies, and E911; confirm LAN/WAN/QoS readiness.
• Pilot with a few users/phones; validate MOS, jitter/loss, and failover behavior.
• Stage cutovers by site or team; maintain rollback and change windows.

Network & security

• SIP over TLS for signaling; SRTP media where supported.
• QoS tags: DSCP EF (voice) and AF31 (signaling); VLANs and LLDP‑MED for phones.
• SSO/MFA for admins; role‑based access; detailed audit logs.

Operations

• Auto‑provisioning templates per model; firmware pinning and staged updates.
• Monitoring: MOS trends, jitter/loss, and trunk health with alerting.
• Runbooks for number porting (LOA), greetings, hunt groups, and disaster re‑routes.
