Is the podcast mic compatible with smartphone?
Yes. But the mic only comes with a USB-C(Mic end) to USB-A(Computer end) cable. If you want to use the mic with smartphone, please use a suitable adapter or USB cable to connect them.
Do the function keys on the microphone work via XLR connection?
No. All the function keys on the microphone such as volume knob and mute button, do not work via XLR connection only. If you want to use those keys via XLR, please connect the microphone to a computer via a USB cable simultaneously.
How do I connect the microphone to the low profile boom arm?
The microphone boom arm comes with 5/8″, 3/8″, 1/4″ screws, and the microphone has a 5/8″ black threaded connector. You can connect them via BM88’s 5/8″ screw. Besides, the K688 microphone also comes with a same 5/8″ screw for spare.
How long does the mic boom arm?
The lower arm is 13 inches (33cm) long and the upper arm is 11.6 inches (29cm) long. In addition, the lower arm can only be adjusted horizontally but not up and down.
How thick of a desk can the boom arm clamp?
