Troubelshooting

Q: People complained they could not hear me clearly / sound too weak.

A: First, please make sure the microphone is connected to the USB ports of your devices properly and it is not mute. RGB lights should be turned ON.

Then, you should check the microphone input volume in System Settings. E.g for Windows 10, you can adjust the input volume here: “Start”->“Settings”->”System”->select “Sound” in the side bar -> choose“WordForum USB” as the input device -> click “Device Properties” -> move the volume slider to 100.

Skype:“Option”->“Audio Device” -> select “WordForum USB”-> move the volume slider to 100.

You can do similar settings on other systems & Apps.

Q: How far does the microphone receive the sound?

A: For best sound receiption, please put the microphone in 8~10″ distance to your mouth. This high quality condenser microphone can capture your voice even in 6 feet far away from the desk, but 8-10″ is the best operation distance for recording or computer telephony.

Q: Can I turn off the RGB lights but keep the microphone be activated?

A: No. When you turn off the RGB lights, the microphone will go into mute status.
