The 990/ 991 Recording mic package is your one-stop mic kit for vocals, drum overheads, acoustic guitars, and more! Two studio condenser microphones are included. WORKHORSE MICROPHONE KIT – Including the MXL 990 Large Diaphragm Condenser Micorphone, Shock Mount, Pop Filter, and 20 foot XLR Cable, you have everything you need to capture any sound source when inspiration strikes.
HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO – The MXL Mics 990 has a 6-micron gold-sputtered diaphragm and FET based design with transformer balanced output for a variety of applications.
REDUCE BACKGROUND NOISE – The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, which rejects noise from the sides and back of the mic. Hear more of yourself, and less of the room.
VERSATILE AND DETAILED – With a silky sweet high end while retaining tight lows and smooth midrange, you can use these microphones for voice overs, podcasting, gaming, studio recording of vocals and instruments. The 20 Hz – 20 kHz (990) and 30Hz – 18kHz (991) frequency response is suitable for both male or female vocalists and a wide variety of other source material.
REQUIRES +48V PHANTOM POWER – The MXL 990 is powered by +48V phantom power. It is compatible with the many audio interfaces and mic preamps that offer phantom power.
