How to use it correctly?
This RJ45 (8P8C) female to RJ11 (6P4C) male adapter allows you to connect a landline phone using existing Ethernet cables (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat7) for physical wiring convenience. Please Note:
This adapter is not designed to transmit broadband data and cannot be used as a replacement for an Ethernet cable. Please do not connect a router’s Ethernet port directly to a telephone, as this type of connection will not work. Please do not connect this device directly to the Modem.Not compatible with VoIP or data-only networks.This adapter does not convert Ethernet signals to phone signals.
